Oh My Word, She's 10 Months!

Check out those teeth!





Well little girl, another month has come and gone, WAY TOO FAST!!! I think that as we are getting to that big day when you will turn one, time has been put into fast forward mode and goes by faster and faster every second! This makes your mommy very sad, but very excited to see how much you have grown over the past 10 months. You are growing and growing and growing and you are flourishing before our eyes! What are you up to this month??.....

~You are still sleeping like a champ, most nights for 12 hours straight! You are going to bed earlier now, around 8:30. You still take, on average, 2 naps a day, one longer and one shorter.

~You are gaining weight like a champ as well. Mommy took you to the doctor today for a weight check and you put on a whole pound and a half since your 9 month apt. You weighed 15 lbs and 13 oz. I'm so proud of you! You are eating so well now. You eat mostly table food, you love your yogurt, you love cheese, chicken,and really...anything we put in front of you! You are still nursing every 3-4 hours as well. Mommy still loves that you are nursing, that is our special time together!

~You are still rolling over like crazy and you tried to pull yourself up yesterday in your crib. You were so close to getting up, but just couldn't get it all the way and you got so frustrated! I have a feeling you will be pulling yourself up very soon. You are now scooting backwards when you're on your tummy and you can spin all the way around VERY quickly! You also scoot yourself backward with your heels when you are sitting up on your bottom. You still aren't crawling forward yet. The doctor says not to worry yet, but of course mommy is. However, I know you'll do it soon, you're so close!

~You love standing at play tables that you can hit buttons and things that make noises. You stand really well! When mommy and daddy stand you up and hold your hands, you can walk pretty well.

~You can hold your own sippy cup now. You love your Nuby sippy cup. You also still love your paci.

~You are starting to be able to finally wear 9 month and 6-12 month clothes. You also are starting to let mommy put shoes on you and you actually leave them on, most of the time.

~You got your first teeth this month! The first one came on daddy's birthday, Sept. 3 and the second one came in Sept. 17th.

~You love being read to and playing on the floor with all of your toys. You also love your giraffe and love that you have your own room now! You still cry though when mommy walks away from you!

~You are such a great baby and you have so much joy! You are a huge blessing to your mommy and daddy and we just pray that you will grow up to love our Lord and Savior!
