Shame on Me!

Updates:
Well, the title says it all. I have been so bad at updating this blog. A lot, of course, has happened since the last time I posted that sweet video of my pumpkin slowly scootin' her way across our living room. She now scoots at full speed, still doing the army crawl and such. She is so funny! She has also fed herself with her spoon and gives great big, mouth wide-open, wet kisses! I LOVE it!

Two weekends ago we were blessed to be able to go visit our great friends in North Carolina. Sofia took her first airplane ride and did great! We had a wonderful time catching up with good friends and eating out at our favorite "eating places" in the South. Sofia says she aprooves of Chick-fil-a and Sonic! Yum yum! We were very sad to have to say goodbye to everyone!

This past weekend we worked around the house, put in our new mailbox, and went to get some pumpkins. We are having a great time enjoying Sofia and this fall weather!

Well, as promised, here it is folks, only a month and a half later! OUR HOUSE!!!!


It has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths! We love it so far! We are excited to raise Sofia in this home and would love for you to visit! :)

A Recipe to Share:
Crock-Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup

1 can of creamed corn
1 can of black beans
1 can of re-fried beans
1 cup of cooked, shredded chicken
1 can of chicken broth
2 cups of salsa


Mix all of the ingredients together in the crock-pot and cook on low for 4-5 hours. Serve with sour cream, tortilla chips, and shredded cheddar cheese! Yum!
