Weekend Recap!

We had a GREAT weekend this past weekend, even though I was sick! Friday night we just hung out at home and rented a movie. Saturday we had such a fun time SHOPPING! We drove over to Birch Run to get Stephen some new clothes for teaching. We found some awesome deals and barely bought Sofia anything! This is a very rare occurrence :) I did get her this coat from Baby Gap in silver for only 10.00, for next year of course!!!

I also got her a pair of cords for 2.00, yes, for only 2.00!

I was so excited to find 2 pairs of jeans at the Banana Republic outlet as well! I love their jeans! They fit perfectly, are incredibly comfy and last forever. I found out that they make their jeans specifically for the outlet and for only 30-40 bucks, you can't beat that for the quality!

We drove back home after we shopped till we dropped, {I think Stephen literally did} and had dinner at a little Mexican place in town here.

Sunday, we went to church and then had dinner at Stephen's parents.

Sunday night, I went back to church for our Esther study. I have so enjoyed this study and it has been such a blessing to me! Plus what's not to love about Beth Moore :)

Then, the most anticipated event happened....JACK BAUER graced us with his presence on the 24 Premier! We are total 24 junkies and completely missed being able to watch it with our friends in NC! As I was watching it, I laughed to myself because last year, they made a 24 movie and we couldn't wait to watch it! Well..I was due with Sofia the following Saturday so our friends told me that I couldn't have her before the movie the Sunday night before my due date. Sunday night came, we watched the movie with friends and ate WAY too much fried food, and sure enough, that night/the next morning I went into labor. We joked that I held out to watch the movie! Sorry about that little, RANDOM, trip down memory lane :)

I hope you had a great weekend as well!

And...of course I couldn't leave you without a little picture of my pumpkin...

or two :)

Also, I would just like to ask you to pray for my cousins. My cousin and his wife are missionaries in Haiti, and they have two little, adorable I might add, sons. They live about 85 miles from Port Au Prince and although they weren't too close, they still felt the Earthquake and aftershocks. They are working with many different organizations to move supplies from the Dominican Republic to Port Au Prince. Please pray that they would be able to get the funds to make this possible and that they will be able to know just what supplies the different organizations need. Also, my cousin's wife is pregnant and is due in February. Please pray that they would be able to make wise decisions regarding the birth. Thank you! You can see more about them and their mission here....
