Changes

Sofia is changing so much, so quickly! Yesterday she took a couple more steps and also began standing on her own for quite a while! She's such a big girl now! She also has learned to drink out of a valved sippy cup rather than her Nubys that you just have to chomp on to drink from.

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Because we didn't know that Sofia was a girl, we registered for very gender neutral bedding. Looking back on it, I wish I had waiting to get the bedding until after she was born so I could get really girly stuff. Then, when we moved, I was too cheap to buy new bedding when what we had was brand new and I did really like it. So... I think that the dots on the walls help soften the yellow and add a touch of pink and purple to the room. :)

I'm so close to finishing up our room {I just have to hang a mirror above our dresser and then I'll be ready to share.} Next week I'm going to paint the main living area of the house! I'm so so so excited to get some color in the room and to not have to stare at blank white walls anymore! I have a couple of things already that I am excited to hang after the paint, but will be looking for some more things. I'll probably be asking for some advice after the paint is on!
