The Lewis Lowdown: Broken Promises...

I did it again! I broke my promise to you that I would have the blog updated...A WEEK AGO! Life has been busy around here to say the least and I think {I hope} that it is going to slow down now. A lot has happened since I wrote you last! I finally have my living room looking good and decorated since I painted...

Excuse all of the stuff on the couch :)

Last Wednesday, Sofia's first girl cousin was born, Grace Ilene, and she is beautiful! I'm so excited to see these two girl cousins grow up together, playing dress up and house and tea parties! :)

That same day, Sofia turned 15 months old!

OH my goodness! It is just not fair how fast time is going! So... here's what my little lady is up to these days...

~She is still sleeping really well, about 12-13 hours at night. She goes to bed around 8:30 and doesn't get up until 8:30 or 9:00. She is really only taking one longer nap now in the afternoon.

~She is still eating pretty well. She has her moments at dinner when she refuses to eat anything! She scrunches up her nose and moves her head away in disgust! She does love spaghetti though, and baby goldfish too :)

~She has 6 teeth and is currently working on popping through 4 more, including her bottom molars.

~She is wearing mostly 6-12 month pants and 12-18 month tops. She is so tiny in the waste but has a long torso so needs the bigger shirts.

~She is always on the move! Walking is her main mode of transportation now and she has learned in the past week to stand up without having to pull herself up with anything. She is not "marching" any more and has a very smooth stride now!

~She can point to her nose, eye, mouth, tooth, and we're working on hands and feet. She will also point to her belly when you ask her where Sofia is.

~She is really starting to show that she understands what you tell her to do. She'll get her shoes, her coat, her ball, etc. when you tell her to. :)

~She weighed in at a whopping 19.5 lbs and measured 31 inches tall putting her in the 5th percentile for weight and 25th percentile for height! It looks like we'll have a little girl! :)

~Her doctor was so proud of all of her accomplishments since he last saw her and said she is right where she should be {What a praise!}

~She just got her first hair cut today and did SOO great! She sat quietly and sucked on a sucker the whole time! Her daddy was sad but it was time! She still has her curls though! :) {Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of her while she was getting it cut because she was sitting on my lap!}
