What is Hudson up to this month???
Hudson, you are....
~still eating about every 3-4 hours. We went to see a lactation consultant this week because mommy thought you weren't getting enough to eat. It was only taking you about 10 minutes to eat total so mommy was getting worried! However, apparently, she had nothing to worry about because we weighed you before you ate and then weighed you after and you drank 4 oz in 8 minutes! Mommy has a really fast flow and you can eat really fast! :)
~sleeping VERY well! You slept through the night for the first time this month, then slept all the way through when we were up north for Memorial Day. This past week you slept through the night 4 out of 5 nights! Mommy is sooo happy that you are finally sleeping so well after a rough first month! You're also down to a pretty good nap schedule. You typically nap for about an hour or so after every feeding!
~definitely growing! At 2 months you weighed 10 lbs even, this week at the lactation consultant, you weighed 11 lbs even. You are still wearing your 0-3 month clothing but I think within the next couple of weeks we will be moving you up to the next size. ~wearing size 1 diapers.
~such a STRONG baby! When you get mad you arch your back and refuse to be put in your carseat or your swing. You stretch your legs out and can stand up (with mommy helping of course).
~you are just about to roll over. You are so close!!!
~you took your first trip up north for Memorial Day! You slept the entire time in the car there and back and you loved to sit on the porch in your carseat and listen to the lake! You slept like a rock there too!
~really growing out of your collic and are becoming such a happy, content baby. You still have fussy evenings, but nothing like you used to! ~really loving your paci, swing, carseat, play mat and big sister!!! You stare at Sofia and just smile away at her! You are really starting to "talk" a lot too! :) I love it!!!! You also are learning to really like bath time! You just smile away in there now!
Hudson, your mommy and daddy and big sister just adore you!!! We are so thankful that God blessed us with such a healthy, growing little boy! :)
Now on to my big girl! Sofia, you crack us up constantly!!! You are talking up a storm and you really don't ever stop talking!! You are a HUGE help to mommy with Hudson! You have amazing patience for a 2 year old! You have been eating a ton but you don't like potatoes. You went "stinky" on the potty for the FIRST time this week! We are so proud of you! You've gone on the potty now every time since then!!! You constantly ask to go to Burt Lake, which mommy loves! You love your grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins! You love your friends John and Mary and Paige and Luke! You love to sing, read your princess Bible and play your guitar.
You love playing with your kitchen and dollies too! You absolutely LOVE playing outside in your wagon and on your swing. You love going to the park and going down the "big red slide." You love to ride in your daddy's Jeep and always hold your brother's hand in the Jeep. We're not sure if it's because you are scared or because you think Hudson is scared. It is so sweet! You are learning more and more EVERY day, it amazes me how much you take in on a daily basis! Your mommy and daddy just adore you little lady!!! You are the sweetest little girl and have the most tender heart! You always say please and thank you and you are just soooo sweet! We have so enjoyed watching you with your little brother and watching you grow up into the little girl that you are! Love you little lady! :)
