6 months old!
My oh my, where in the world has the time gone??? I can't believe a half of a year has gone by already since our little Sofia joined us! Everyone always warned me that it flies by, but I don't think anyone quite told me it would go this fast!!! She had her 6 month check up on Thursday and everything still looks great! She weighed 14 lbs 10 oz (30th percentile) and was 26 inches long (55th percentile.) I continue to be amazed at how much she has changed in the last couple of months. She is talking up a storm and making the cutest little noises with her mouth. She is also starting to "sing" and make a noise that looks like she is trying to blow bubbles. SOO cute!!!
We have enjoyed swimming at our friend's pool! We went yesterday and today, and she LOVED it! I have a little floaty thing for her and she just loves sitting in it in the water and splashing her little hands all around.
I find myself becoming very sad that she is growing up so fast, but then I am reminded of how much more interactive she is right now! Stephen and I are truly blessed to have such a healthy, happy, and playful little girl! Being a mom is so fulfilling and a true joy, and I thank the Lord for allowing us this opportunity to raise Sofia!
