A New Adventure

Well...in case you haven't heard, we are moving back to Michigan....in a week and a half!!! I know, crazy, right? Well, after many prayers, Stephen got a job and will be working for his dad and Wingshadow. I will be able to stay home with my baby and I am SOOO excited! I will probably try to sub 2 days a week and I'm planning to start working on my Masters! We are both very excited to be back by our families and friends, but saddened to think that we have to say goodbye to our "NC family" and friends. It is very bittersweet for me knowing that it may be a couple of years until I am back in my own classroom. I really have enjoyed the past two years of teaching and working with children, but I am so looking forward to being able to stay home with Sofia and taking care of the "wifely" things around the house :). It has really been a blessing that we did not have to put Sofia into daycare and that Stephen was able to stay home with her, but I am very much looking forward to being the one who cooks and cleans and does the laundry...and most of all, the one who stays home with our pumpkin during the day! It will be extremely difficult to say goodbye to our friends as they have really become our family down here. It is so wonderful how the Lord put these people in our lives, as we are so far from our families in MI.

Our plans as of now are...
Wed, June 10th: My last day of school with the kiddos
Fri, June 12th: My last workday
Mon, June 15th: Load up the moving truck
Tues, June 16th: Make the drive up to MI
Wed, June 17th: Start looking for a house :)

We're not sure where we're going to live yet, but we've been looking at houses online and have a list of ones we're planning to look at. Please continue to pray for us and for this big change that we are about to make in our lives. We are very excited to see where the Lord will lead us in this new adventure!
