Not so "Wordless" Wednesday!

Well, again, there is much to update you on!! We have a signed purchase agreement and just continue to wait for the loan to be processed. Hopefully we will know something soon. In the meantime, we will continue to stay with Stephen's parents at Wingshadow, and I will continue to hop back and forth between Greenville, Northville, and Indian River.

I still have not heard anything on the job that I wrote about interviewing for. I've called a couple of times and haven't been able to get a clear answer, so I just continue to pray that the Lord will either open or close the door.

The weekend after that interview, the three of us, Stephen, Sofia and myself, took a little road trip up to Traverse City for the day. We enjoyed walking around the last day of the Cherry Festival and had dinner and delicious ice cream at Moomers! That was some really good ice cream.

This past weekend we all went to Northville to spend some time with my family as Stephen had not seen my family since we arrived back in Michigan. We had a good time hanging out and visited the Henry Ford Museum. (Funny video to come from there...)

Tomorrow we're heading up north for a long weekend getaway. My family is going out to Oregon for my cousin's wedding, so we'll have the place all to ourselves. :) We're also looking forward to some good friends and family coming up and hanging out with us as well. Hopefully the weather clears up so we can get some good time on the boat and in the water!

The Lord has really been doing some working in my life lately. It is very humbling when I seem to think that just for a second, I have everything all figured out, and really nothing is really what it seems! We had the privilege this week to spend some time with some dear friends, the Hiles, who are missionaries in South Africa. Whenever I have the opportunity to talk with Sara, I find myself just thirsting for the Lord. She is such an encouragement and has been such a blessing in my life, and she probably doesn't even know it. I am so thankful for the friendship that we have been able to build just in the few times I have seen her. Please pray that the Lord will really just show us what it is that HE wants for us to do.

Thanks for all of the love and support!
