Anyways, you are getting so big and are truly a toddler now. What all are you up to this month:
~You are still sleeping very well at night, you go down around 8 and don't get up until 9. You are only down to one nap now though and it usually lasts about 2 hours. You still like to sleep with your giraffe and your paci.
~You are really becoming a HUGE eater! You can pack away the food, I don't even know where because you are so tiny! You generally eat yogurt, bananas, cereal and oatmeal for breakfast {not all at once of course.} For lunch you love to have grilled cheese, macaroni, fruit, toast, or whatever leftovers are in the fridge. You are now pretty good about dinner and you generally eat up whatever it is that we're having. You also have 1 snack a day. You love goldfish, graham crackers, teddy grahams, blueberries, and of course cookies. You also are now drinking 2% milk and you just learned how to drink out of a straw!
~You are still a tiny peanut. You are wearing mostly 6-12 month pants still and are now up to 12-18 month tops. You are still wearing a size 3 shoe and size 3 diaper.
~You now have 10 teeth, 6 on top and 4 on bottom.
~You got your first hair cut this month.
~You are really talking up a storm now :) You say mama, dada, doggy, tooth, shoe, uh oh, ball, and thank you.
~You can point to your eye, nose, mouth, tooth, hair, ear, hands, belly and feet.
~When you are asked what a sheep says, you say baa. You make a car sound when you're driving around a toy car. We're working on what a cow says.
~You can identify a lot of different things in books if we ask you where they are.
~You are not only cruising up the stairs, but you are now FLYING DOWN the stairs. You get down on your belly and start going down.
~You will climb up into our lap if you want us to read you a book. You still LOVE books!
~You love playing outside. You love to ride in your wagon and your stroller. You also love to play with bubbles.
~You have just started scribbling with crayons pretty well.
~You are getting good at picking up your toys. If we tell you to go put some dirty clothes of yours away, you take them in to your hamper.
~You love to "love" on your new baby cousin, Grace. You love to give her kisses and you are just amazed by her!
You are growing up so fast little girl and you are getting to be sooooo smart! You've shown that you can throw some pretty good tantrums, but mommy and daddy still love you very much! You are such a blessing to our lives and we pray everyday that you will grow up to be a healthy little girl who loves Jesus!
PS.... These are waiting for me on the counter....
I'll let you know how they were tomorrow! :)
Cows say MOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Sofia needs to learn that before this summer so Mary and her can play at the farm.
ReplyDeleteAlso - we need to work on Sofia's night hours...a little later would be good ;-)
